Carlie's passion for beauty and design started with a love for fashion and travel. After attending university with a degree in fashion merchandising and design, she worked in luxury retail markets, from Palm Beach to Aspen. There she ran high-end clothing and home furnishing boutiques which included everything from visual  merchandising to styling.  Searching for inspiration, she embarked on a solo trip to SE Asia, traveling through Thailand and Indonesia.  She landed in Bali and immediately fell in love with the island and its people and culture.  Carlie became immersed in the expat design community and started doing private label production and sourcing for both fashion and home with companies back in the US. She also started her own line of leather goods, called Asa, or hope in Indonesian. As she was building the business, she started having requests from friends to design a space or help decorate their homes. It was a perfect foray and expansion from the fashion industry. From this, she decided to start Carlie Hope Interiors and has been working on projects in both Florida and Massachusetts.
